Proof in Every Cycle: Why Validation Matters
Overview
Validate UV-C Disinfection with Visible Proof
UV-C disinfection is powerful, but only if you know it worked. The YUVIO-5 & YUVIO
TRAP devices are designed to work hand-in-hand with Intellego dosimeters, providing real-time,
visible confirmation that critical surfaces have received the required dose.
Why Validation Is Essential
- Confirms disinfection efficacy
- Supports compliance and audits
- Reduces the risk of HCAIs
- Protects sensitive surfaces from overexposure
About Intellego Technologies
Trusted UV-C Indicators from Intellego Technologies
Intellego is a global leader in colourimetric dosimeter technology. Their UV-C indicators visibly change colour to show how much UV-C energy has been delivered. It’s a trusted solution used in hospitals in over 60 countries.
Trusted UV-C Indicators from Intellego Technologies
Intellego’s colorimetric dosimeters visibly confirm UV-C exposure, helping ensure surfaces receive the correct disinfection dose.
Proven in 60+ Countries and Hospitals Worldwide
Healthcare facilities around the globe rely on Intellego for accurate, real-time UV-C validation with trusted results.
How Its Work
Simple, Visible Verification in Four Easy Steps
tellego is a global leader in colourimetric dosimeter technology. Their UV-C indicators visibly change colour to show how much UV-C energy has been delivered. It’s a trusted solution used in hospitals in over 60 countries.
Place a dosimeter on high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, IV poles)
Position the Intellego dosimeter on frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, bed rails, or IV poles to monitor UV-C exposure.
Run the appropriate disinfection cycle
Start the UV-C disinfection device according to protocol, ensuring the dosimeter is exposed during the entire cycle.
Check the colour change to verify proper dosage.
After the cycle ends, observe the dosimeter. A clear color shift indicates that the surface received the necessary UV-C dose.
Adjust runtime if needed for full efficacy
If the color change is incomplete, increase exposure time and re-run the cycle to ensure complete disinfection.
